Joseph is now 4 days old (well in 5 min he will be). Time is sure flying fast, and it's been an eventful time since we got home on Friday. Emily was so excited to see us and baby Joseph. She has taken to him pretty well and thinks he's her baby. She honestly thinks he just like all her baby dolls so we have to watch her like a hawk around him. She has shown some signs of jealousy which is to be expected. Mainly she is just having lots of trouble with the same things we had trouble with before he arrived: nap time, bed time, direct disobedience and self control of her emotions. Time will help all this, but for now we pray for sanity.
I have a few pictures to post of her with her new baby brother. On the other hand, we had to take him to the Dr. today for a recheck and he's gained now up to 7 lbs. He was 6 lb and 9 oz when we left the hospital so there is no doubt that he is getting plenty of milk, which as arrived in the factory. They checked his bilirubin and it is up so we have to take him back tomorrow for a recheck to make sure it's not getting to high. He is a little yellow, and more so today, so we're praying that it won't be higher tomorrow because we do not want to have to put him under the lights to help get the jaundice out.
Blogging is not an easy task lately, as I'm usually napping when I have free time to get on the computer. Enjoy these few pictures and have a great week. Thanks again for all your prayers.
