We went up to Dauset Trails yesterday for a picnic and had a very fun day. Joseph's never been, and Emily was actually younger than him when she went. We had fun looking at all the animals (although most of them were asleep)...and of course the girls just enjoyed trying to catch tadpoles in the water!
We'll when Ms. Jackie called us yesterday and asked if we wanted to take a "field trip" to pick strawberries you know what my answer was...YES!!!! These girls hadn't seen each other in over 2 weeks, so their reunion was something sweet! I didn't catch Emily and Mary Grace's first hug on camera but they almost knocked each other down. It was PRICELESS! I did however catch Mary Grace hugging her Joseph though! The look on Joseph's face says it all! He had missed her too.
We had fun and picked a big bucket full of strawberries, and Joseph enjoyed tasting a few as well.
We didn't get ice cream because it was so close to lunch, but I'm sure we'll be heading back out their with Daddy soon for more strawberries and some ice cream as well. While out on the farm they had to enjoy looking at all the animals, and of course if there's a tractor around Joseph will find it. He went crazy when we got out there because of the HUGE John Deere they have out there! The tires were as tall as me, so he just couldn't get over how big it was!
Of course before heading back to GA we had to get the kids dressed up and make some photos outside since it was SO pretty! We won't be going back to MS for Easter this year since our trip came a little earlier than Easter decided to arrive...but we got them both decked out in their spring clothes and got some really good photos!!!! Of course if there's a butterfly anywhere around I'm going to find it and make a photo of it!
The photos with the azaleas were made just down the road at Tildon, my daddy's 1st cousins house, on Fork Road. They were SO pretty, and we had to make pictures down there!

Wednesday we headed to Jackson, MS to visit the Capitol and the children's museum. We enjoyed everything, and since of course I have limited time blogging while in MS, enjoy these pictures...I'll narrate more when we get back to GA maybe, ha ha.
