The other weekend Uncle Randy came over for a visit. As always we love it when he comes. Above is him reading to Joseph his favorite book "I See Me". Below is Joseph watching Emily dance to some Marty Stuart (who else). He's got this on his face like, "what kind of crazy family am I in?" Hope you all have a great week!

First Day of Preschool

Well I just dropped off Emily at her first day of 3K preschool. She did very well and didn't cry like I thought she would. She did say she wanted me to stay, but she immediately realized how dull I was and went straight to a little girl who was playing at a table. I hope that she's making it fine and I know she is. I only had concerns because she has a sinus infection and hasn't felt like her usual self lately. Emily LOVES to be around other children and I know this time will be great for her. I'm not sure how well Joseph will adjust to not have his entertainment around during the day, but we'll make it. So far he fell asleep on the way home and slept 45 minutes when we got here. I actually had some quiet time! He's starting to fuss so I'd better go. Have a great week.

I know I haven't written much lately on all my posts, just have been posting pictures, but I haven't had the time to sit and write out my thoughts. I've been spending alot of time in serious prayer and God has been revealing alot to me. I haven't found the time or the words to write down all that I feel God doing, but in time it will be revealed. Please keep our family in your prayers as God works in our hearts and lives. Lately everything has been a struggle, and I know we all go through those times, but lately I just don't feel right about anything. I can't pin point exactly what it is, but God is slowly revealing a lot to Glenn and I both. I hesitate to even write out just a fraction of my thoughts because I know SO many read this and do not want any one to read too much into this, as has happened in the past. I just want to ask for prayers from all you friends of mine back home (and here in Macon too).

I also want to ask prayer for some friends of ours. If you remember seeing pictures I've posted in the past of our neighbors who have a beautiful yard, I ask you pray for them both, Mrs. Faye and Mr. Eldon. Mr Eldon has had cancer for a couple of years, and just this past week they have put him on hospice. The cancer has spread all through his body and is now in the spinal cavity and fluid. His body is slowly shutting down, and I ask you pray for him to be without pain and for her to be comforted during this time. They are my parents age, and my mother is good friends with Mrs. Faye as they have become close when moma visits. She loves her husband SO much and it just aches me to see this and whats to come within the next few weeks. Just keep them in your prayers for me!
On another note here is Joseph watching the activity below. Glenn and Emily on the slip-n-slide.

Emily starts preschool on Tuesday so also pray for that. I'm not sure how she's going to handle it since I've been with her everyday of her life since she was 12 months old! I know it will be has hard on me leaving her as it will her. Pray for us Tuesday morning! I hope you all have a great week and I'll try to update later this week.

Update from Georgia

We made it back to GA last week...I've obviously not had time to blog that's for sure! This time back has been even harder adjusting. Joseph has had to adjust being back home and not being held all the time, and as usual Emily has had to adjust to not getting to play and get dirty like she did at the fair. Over all we're making it just fine. Joseph went for his 4 month check up last week and to get shots and he did really good. He weighed 13 pounds 7 oz, and was 26 in. long! This was him asleep the evening after his shots, he was worn out!
This was him the day after his shots. He is starting to cut his first tooth so he's been a little irritable from that.Emily loves playing her guitar. She pretends she's on the Marty Stuart Show almost every night. No one has ever shown her how to hold a guitar, so I'm just guessing with a few lessons in a few years and she'll be a natural. She holds it perfectly and just strums it (of course not on tune), and sings away. She loves to make up her own songs.
