Joseph's 13 months old

Until both of my kids are 2 I make photos ever month, just to see how much they change. So Joseph turned 13 months on Sunday so we got out yesterday and tried to get some pictures. It was really sunny, almost too much sun for good pictures, but I tried any way. Kids change SO much during their first 2 years of life and I love going back and looking at the changes years to come.
At 13 months old, Joseph is running and getting into everything. He loves to explore, and since being at his Mamaw & Papaw's right now he is really getting into some stuff. His favorite place is to go down to the road and play in the rocks. It was always Emily's favorite place too. But if we're outside, he'll find his way to the edge of the yard at the bank and start whining to go down to the road. He is definitely going to be my little adventurer, with NO fear. Emily was always SO cautious, but not Joseph. Since coming last week he's had several accidents, none serious, but blood has been drawn a few times and many bruises have been made.
He is still my little boy as he only weighs 19 pounds, but let me assure you he does eat. He can eat an adult serving of some of Papaw's field purple hull peas, along with some cooked apples. He LOVES, sweet potatoes and can put down a whole small one in one sitting. You ask, where does it go because he's so small. I guess he's got his daddy high metabolism. He loves bananas too but doesn't get them often because they don't agree with his digestive system.
His smile can sure light up your day, and he's still only sporting his 4 little teeth, but I'm not rushing that because teething is no fun for any of us.

You see he has a stick in the picture above, and he can sure use it as a weapon. Poor Emily gets poked and hit several times while playing with him. Below they were watching Papaw come up on the tractor. He loves some tractors, lawn mowers, and cars! He is pure boy for sure! Hope you enjoyed these pictures.
