Tuesday we met a friend of mine Rozane Richardson Fulton and her kids out at the park to play. I didn't get the picture when they first saw each other but she did. They said that the girls just ran to each other grabbed one another and hugged like long lost friends reunited!!!! We don't get to see Rozane, Sarah Alice & little Annie very often. I think the last time we saw them was at Thanksgiving dinner at Beacon Street, and the only other time before that was at the Fair. Since we don't get to MS but a few times a year for an extended stay we don't get to see them often enough. The girls played for a couple of hours and before leaving a family came and sat down with their lunch at the picnic table (on left). Our girls just ran over like starving children staring at them eating (them on the right). Emily just adores Sarah Alice and sees pictures of her on Rozane's blog and on Facebook all through the year, so I guess social networking is good for long distant friends for kids just like it is adults. We do wish we were closer to them for sure. You don't find many families and friends who have the same values as we do. Kids become and act like the kids they are around alot, and we wish Emily could be around Sarah Alice more often for sure! But until then, we make the most of our trips to MS, letting the girls run, and act crazy at Imagination Fun Station (aka the BEST park in the South).
