Well Emily is doing much better. She stopped running fever Thursday but we kept her home until today, Saturday. The Georgia National Fair, in Perry GA opened Thursday and we really wanted to go this year since we've never been. We all enjoyed ourselves, but were extremely hot as it was 90 degrees, with indexes much higher than that in the sun. Emily got to ride all the rides she wanted, and we even got to see a circus. We were impressed with the Fair, although it wasn't quite the Neshoba County Fair we're use to. Emily did ask this morning about cabins, and wondered why they didn't have cabins. She seemed pleased and had a blast though. By 1:00 she kept saying, "I'm tired". I know she was as she's been sick this week and been at home pretty much all week. When we left at 3:00, after the circus, she fell asleep in the car almost before we got to the interstate. She went to bed early tonight, and I hope will sleep peacefully after all the excitement she's had today, and cotton candy too. Enjoy the pictures and the rest of your weekend, and hopefully we'll get some cooler fall weather here in GA soon.
