Our church is coordinating and leading what we call Everybody Splash this weekend and these are just a few pictures from the fun from last night and this morning we had with the preschoolers and kids. SPLASH is our way of putting revival and local missions together. Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday morning we have special music and a special speaker come in to lead worship and Bible study. On Saturday morning following an opening worship rally, the church went out with 7 or more teams all over one neighborhood to SERVE. This year we focused on Lake Wildwood, a neighborhood just across the road from our area, and they went all around cutting grass, trimming branches and whatever the people needed! Glenn is on a team and I haven't heard yet what all he did, BUT my job was coordinating the preschoolers and babies in child-care....perfect place for me right!!!
We had a blast last night painting our tree trunks and mixing red and yellow paint to make orange. Today we put it all together and glued leaves on our trees to be the decorations for the tables at tonight's dinner. We had fun and it went by SO fast! Joseph and I came back home after lunch for him to nap. Emily was with the bigger kids this year and they planted flowers, and made goodie bags for the families whose houses we worked on. This afternoon they went to deliver them. We'll be heading back to church in a minute after he awakens, for another night of fun! I think he's tuckered out!
