Christmas in GA 2014

This was our first year to spend Christmas in GA.  Due to my due date being only 6 weeks (or less) away we knew it was best to stay put.  We enjoyed going to our churches Christmas eve service where our children's choir had a special part in it.  Emily was an angel and read scripture and they sang 3 songs.  We had a few guys added in as our wise men, shepherd, and King Herod too!

Being in our own home for Christmas meant we were able to do things different and cook on our own.  Emily was a huge help she helped make the sweet potato casserole AND mix up the yummy dough for our cinnamon rolls the next morning.

After the kids went to sleep Christmas Eve Glenn finished up the wrapping for me and got everything ready for Christmas morning.  I can't explain how peaceful it was just sitting in the dark room with only the glow of the tree!

After reading the Christmas story from Luke 2 and finishing our Advent calender we had some breakfast and then opened presents!  Thanks to Mamaw and Papaw for mailing all their presents, the kids were showered with MORE than enough on Christmas morning.
